Fragaria x ananassa 'Symphony' is a Scottish-bred late-season variety, bearing bright, glossy red berries with a good flavour. It's perfect for growing in conjunction with early season strawberries, in order to extend your cropping potential. Place straw under immature fruits to reduce the chances of slugs eating them, and replace plants every three years, as they gradually produce less fruit with age.
